Package Management

Package management is a Beta feature, now supported on Oracle OCI for Python 2.7 and 3.7, and R 3.5.

Enhancement

• ZEP-3880: From the Environments page of the QDS UI, you can:
  • Choose the repo (conda or pypi) from which you want to install packages; this reduces installation time.
  • View the package installation logs when installing Python and R packages.

Bug Fixes

• ZEP-2048: R packages installed via CRAN (along with conda) now appear in the View all user and pre-installed packages dialog.
