New Features

  • EAM-1617: While viewing a Show Command API, it displays the email address of the user (Command Author) who submitted the command.

  • EAM-1632: A new API is introduced to retrieve the Hive table partitions and locations. For more information, see View Table Partitions and Location.

  • EAM-890: Qubole now supports user-specific, secure connections to external data stores such as Redshift and Snowflake. User can share his or her connections as a template with other users and groups (Disabled, Via Support). For more information, see Adding a Secure Connection to an External Data Store.

  • EAM-1483: The users can now create different notification channels (such as Email, Slack, PagerDuty, and Webhook) to receive notifications on success or failure of various Qubole products (Scheduler, Quest, and so on). Currently, it is available for the Scheduler and Quest. For more information, see Creating Notification Channels.

Enhancements

  • EAM-1586: Hadoop1 cluster is not supported to execute data import and data export commands. User must run Hadoop2 cluster to exercise the same.
